MAN is the first manufacturer to win the international Truck of the Year award for the seventh time. The reliability and low fuel consumption of our vehicles are key reasons why international transport and logistics companies trust in MAN trucks. Since the introduction in 2000 of the TGA – the heavy truck in our Trucknology range – more than 230,000 have been sold, often to the construction industry.
- A step into a new dimension

For many years we have been developing environmentally-friendly buses – such as hybrid buses for use in public transport. A milestone for us was the testing of diesel-electric hybrid bus in Nuremberg in 2006.

Our newly-developed 32/40PGI gas engine underpins that confidence with its unique combination of benefits, like the high efficiency of a Diesel engine and the low-emission of a lean burn gas engine working on the Otto principle.
- The turbo for every industry

We are one of the top three manufacturers and service providers of compressors and industrial turbines. And we are the world leader in the supply of key components for Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) plants. Up to 140,000 barrels of synthetic liquid fuel can be produced in a new GTL plant in Qatar, using our turbomachinery trains.
- Expertise in plant construction

One of our key areas in plant construction is methanol. Using the plants we built, our most important customer in this sector has, over the last 13 years, become the second largest manufacturer of methanol – worldwide!
